Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Muscat
Upon arriving at Muscat International Airport, your journey commences. Once you have passed through immigration, retrieved your luggage, and cleared customs seamlessly, proceed to the arrival hall. Here, you will be greeted warmly by your designated chauffeur, who will escort you to your selected hotel. Take this opportunity to relax and unwind with a peaceful overnight stay in Muscat.
Day 2: Exploring Muscat’s Treasures
Today, embark on an enthralling half-day tour of Muscat, the vibrant capital of Oman. Our journey commences with a visit to the awe-inspiring Grand Mosque, a prominent feature of the city. Please be aware that the Grand Mosque is closed on Fridays and select public holidays. This contemporary architectural marvel, finalized in 2001, harmoniously blends modern aesthetics with traditional artistry. As you wander through, be sure to admire the mosque’s splendor, from the exquisite handwoven carpets to the opulent chandeliers and the striking ceiling of the main prayer hall. For entry, women must be modestly dressed with a headscarf, while men should wear trousers.
Our adventure continues along the charming waterfront Corniche, where we will pause at the lively Muttrah Souq, a bustling marketplace brimming with local treasures and crafts. Negotiate for souvenirs as you explore the vibrant stalls. Moving on, we will halt for a photo opportunity at the majestic Al Alam Palace, the official abode of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, set against the backdrop of the historic Portuguese forts, Mirani and Jalali, dating back to the 16th century.
Our next destination is the Bait Al Zubair Museum, offering a glimpse into Oman’s rich historical and cultural legacy. As the day draws to a close, we will return to the hotel for a well-deserved rest. Enjoy your overnight stay in Muscat, reminiscing about the delightful experiences of the day.
Day 3: Dolphin Watching – A Maritime Adventure
Today, we invite you to embark on an exciting adventure starting from your hotel in Muscat and heading to the Marina. Our destination? The vast open sea, where we will board a boat in search of Dolphins and Whales. Observing these remarkable marine creatures in their natural environment is a truly invigorating way to begin your day. If fortune smiles upon you, you may even catch a glimpse of one of the many whale species that inhabit the waters near Muscat’s rugged coastline.
While we cannot guarantee dolphin or whale sightings on every excursion, the journey itself is a memorable one. You will deepen your knowledge of these fascinating marine mammals and the ocean that serves as their habitat. Upon our return to the Marina, you will have the remainder of the day at your leisure to explore the city or make use of the hotel’s amenities. Your overnight accommodation will be at the Muscat hotel.
Day 4: Farewell to Muscat
Savor your breakfast in the morning before saying goodbye to Muscat. Upon checking out of your hotel, we will organize your transportation to Muscat International Airport for your return flight home.
