Our journey will commence with a tour of the medieval Medina, where highlights include visits to the Bouanania medersa and the Nejjarine fountain. Stroll through the bustling souks, where talented artisans uphold ancient oriental traditions. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at your own pace before delving into the modern district of Fes Jdid and the Mellah in the afternoon. A leisurely lunch break awaits in Midelt before we resume our adventure through the awe-inspiring Ziz canyons, offering a glimpse of the breathtaking Atlas scenery. Our day concludes as we reach Erfoud and check into our accommodations for the night. (Breakfast and Dinner provided)

Today, we will depart for Tineghir, offering numerous chances to capture the breathtaking and unique landscapes with your camera. A relaxed lunch awaits you in Tineghir before we continue our journey to Ouarzazate through the Todra Canyon and the Dadès Valley, renowned as the Valley of Roses and celebrated for its countless Kasbahs. Your accommodation for the night will be at a hotel in Ouarzazate. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in this charming city.

    Day 6: Ouarzazate to Marrakech

Today, we begin our city tour of Ouarzazate, visiting its key attractions. Our first destination is the captivating Kasbah Taourirt, once a residence of the Glaoui family. Positioned on the outskirts of the town, this magnificent kasbah is widely recognized as one of Morocco’s most stunning landmarks. Its elaborate architecture features opulent apartments, traditional clay dwellings, and intricately designed crenelated towers embellished with exquisite geometric motifs. Certain sections of this fortified village are open to the public.

Continuing our expedition, we head towards the Ait Benhadou Kasbah, situated approximately 30 kilometers away from Ouarzazate. This extraordinary fortress is famed for its striking appearance and has been featured in numerous iconic films, such as Lawrence of Arabia. Aït Benhaddou is a UNESCO-designated fortified village, showcasing crenelated towers and structures adorned with breathtaking geometric patterns, making it one of Morocco’s most picturesque villages of its kind. Ongoing efforts are in place to revive and repopulate this historic village, which currently houses just five families.

Following our exploration of these cultural gems, we journey to Marrakech, passing through the Tizin Tichka Pass, the highest mountain pass in Morocco. This picturesque route offers awe-inspiring views of the Atlas Mountains and the charming village of Taddert. You will have the choice to enjoy lunch either in Benhaddou or in Marrakech.

Upon reaching Marrakech, we will check into our hotel and spend the night in this lively city. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Day 7: Marrakech – City Exploration

Today, we will commence a city tour of Marrakech, the second oldest Imperial City, known as the Pearl of the South. Established by the Almoravides in the late 11th century, Marrakesh is situated in a picturesque oasis, nestled at the foot of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains.

Our morning journey kicks off with a visit to the Menara Gardens, a tranquil sanctuary. We will also admire the grandeur of the Koutoubia Mosque from the outside. Our next destinations include the famous Bahia Palace and the fascinating Saadian tombs.

Lunch will be a relaxed affair, giving you the opportunity to savor local cuisine at your own pace.

In the afternoon, we will explore the lively souks (markets) that Marrakech is renowned for. Our excursion will conclude at the iconic Jemaa El Fna Place. This bustling square is the heartbeat of Medina life, bustling with activity day and night.

During the day, it functions as a vibrant marketplace where vendors offer fresh orange juice, nuts, and dried fruits. But the real magic happens at dusk. At 5:00 PM, the square transforms into a center of entertainment and culinary delights. Food stalls come alive, serving a variety of vegetables, fish, and meats.

As night falls, the square becomes a stage for various performers such as snake charmers, singers, musicians, storytellers, and acrobats. Healers and fakirs offer their remedies and cures. The audience comprises a mix of locals and tourists, providing a glimpse into the unchanged Medina life reminiscent of medieval times.

Remember to bring some small change to Jemaa El Fna, as the performers appreciate a token of gratitude in addition to applause.

Enjoy a peaceful night at your Marrakech hotel.

    Day 8: Leaving Marrakech

After enjoying your breakfast this morning, it is now time to complete the check-out process at your hotel and proceed to Menara Airport for your return flight.
