The ride begins in Leh, taking you over the world-famous Khardung La Pass (5,359 m), known for its stunning panoramic views and challenging terrain. After descending into the picturesque Nubra Valley, riders can explore Diskit Monastery and enjoy the unique experience of riding Bactrian camels in the Hundar Sand Dunes. Continuing further along the scenic Shyok River, the route leads to Turtuk, India’s northernmost village, located close to the Line of Control.

Turtuk is a hidden gem, offering a rare glimpse into Balti culture, traditional stone houses, apricot orchards, and warm local hospitality. After exploring its heritage trails and stunning views of the Karakoram Range, riders return to Leh via the same route, completing a memorable circuit.

    Itinerary

    Day 1 : Arrival in Leh

    Leh turtuk leh bike trip starts after arriving at Leh airport, you’ll be greeted by cool mountain air and the dramatic landscape of the Trans-Himalayas. After checking into your hotel, the rest of the day is reserved for rest and acclimatization to the altitude (11,500 ft). In the evening, take a light walk around the Leh Market and enjoy a traditional Ladakhi dinner. Overnight stay in Leh.

    Day 2 : Leh Local Sightseeing

    After a hearty breakfast, begin your local exploration with visits to Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, and the impressive Hemis Monastery. Later, witness the serene beauty of the Shanti Stupa and marvel at panoramic views of the city and Stok Kangri range. End the day with a visit to the Leh Palace, offering glimpses into Ladakh’s royal history. Overnight stay in Leh.

    Day 3 :  Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La

    Today’s journey will take you over one of the world’s highest motorable passes, Khardung La (18,380 ft), into the striking landscapes of Nubra Valley. Upon arrival, visit the charming villages of Hunder and Diskit. Enjoy a unique ride on a double-humped Bactrian camel amid the white sand dunes of Hunder, and explore the Diskit Monastery, home to a giant Buddha statue. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

    Day 4 : Nubra Valley to Turtuk – Explore the Last Indian Village

    After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Turtuk, one of India’s northernmost villages, located just 10 km from the Line of Control. A culturally rich village of Balti Muslims, Turtuk offers a fascinating look into a way of life shaped by history, war, and peace. Walk through apricot orchards, stone houses, and visit local museums that reflect the Indo-Pak heritage. Return to Hunder by evening. Overnight stay in Nubra.

    Day 5 : Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok Route

    Today, head to the iconic Pangong Lake, taking the adventurous Shayok route. This high-altitude saline lake stretches into China and is known for its stunning blue hues that shift with the sun. Reach your lakeside camp by late afternoon. Relax by the tranquil waters and watch the sun set over the mountains. Overnight stay in Pangong.

    Day 6 :  Pangong Lake to Leh via Chang La Pass

    Wake up early to catch the sunrise at Pangong Lake—a truly breathtaking sight. Post breakfast, begin your return journey to Leh via Chang La Pass (17,590 ft), one of the highest motorable roads in the world. En route, visit the Druk White Lotus School (known from the film 3 Idiots) and stop by at Sindhu Ghat. Arrive in Leh by evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

    Day 7 : Departure from Leh.

    • As travelling becomes a regular part of life for many, we recommend creating your own travel accessories kit to enjoy a smooth and stress-free holiday.
    • Always aim to travel light—carry less luggage, preferably one small or medium-sized four-wheel suitcase per person. This makes movement easier and helps avoid inconvenience during the trip.
    • It’s advisable to keep one cross-body bag or a small haversack with you at all times. This will help you carry your essentials comfortably during sightseeing and also makes it easy to click photos without any hassle.
    • Make sure to include a smart cap or hat and a good pair of sunglasses in your kit to protect yourself from sun exposure and stay comfortable throughout the day.
    • Although all three meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—along with special treats as per the itinerary will be provided, you may still carry your choice of dry snacks in small, sealed packets for munching during flights or long road journeys.
    • If you’re travelling during the monsoon or to a destination known for rain, do pack a small umbrella or a lightweight poncho to stay dry and prepared.
    • For international tours, don’t forget to carry a universal power adapter so that you can easily charge your mobile phones and camera without facing any compatibility issues.
    • Lastly, make sure your clothing and footwear are suitable for the destination and weather conditions to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience.

      • ID card, ID card type and ID card number is mandatory at time of booking, kindly carry the same ID card on tour.
      • For NRI and Foreign National Guests alongwith Passport, Valid Indian Visa/ OCI Card/ PIO Card is mandatory.
      • Carry one passport size photo.

      Payment Policy

      A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking your travel package, with an additional 25% amount due no later than 30 days prior to departure. For standard travel packages, the remaining 50% balance can be settled during or after your trip but must be completed before the tour concludes. Failure to comply with our payment policy may result in the cancellation of your booking.

      • If you choose to make payment through any method other than NEFT/RTGS, direct bank deposit, or cash payment, you will be responsible for any transfer charges incurred by banks or payment agencies

      Cancellation Policy

      We understand that most travelers who cancel their reservations do so due to unforeseen circumstances or emergencies. However, cancellations require significant administrative resources, including dedicated staff time, communication costs, and pre-purchased arrangements. Therefore, all cancellations will incur the following fees based on the timing of cancellation:

      Cancellation Charges:

      • Before 30 days: 15% of the total tour cost
      • 30 – 15 days: 30% of the total tour cost
      • 14 – 7 days: 70% of the total tour cost
      • 6 – 3 days: 80% of the total tour cost
      • 2 – 0 days: 100% of the total tour cost

      Additional Terms:

      • All cancellations made within 25 days of trip commencement will attract a minimum cancellation charge of ₹10,000
      • If you fail to join a tour, join after departure, or leave before completion, no refund will be provided
      • The above cancellation fees are in addition to any charges that may be imposed by accommodation providers or third-party service cancellation fees

      Cancellation Due To Natural Disasters And Unforeseen Circumstances

      If your tour is cancelled or postponed due to natural disasters (landslides, snowfall, floods, earthquakes), severe weather conditions, road blockades, civil unrest, riots, or any weather-related or socio-political disruptions occurring at the last moment, no refund will be provided.

      Specific Scenarios:

      • If roads are blocked and travelers miss their scheduled accommodation, the full cost of the missed hotel stay will be charged, plus the cost of any emergency accommodation we arrange
      • Travelers may choose to arrange and pay for emergency accommodation at their own expense
      • If a particular destination must be cancelled at the last moment, the full amount for that portion will be charged
      • Changes to itineraries due to regional unrest or security concerns may require immediate rebooking, and travelers must cooperate with new arrangements

      Important Disclaimer: This policy exists because natural phenomena and socio-political situations are beyond our control. Road blockages, regional conflicts, and weather emergencies can necessitate last-minute changes to travel plans. In such circumstances, travelers will bear the expenses for any required modifications to their itinerary.
