    Itinerary

    Day 1

    Arrival in Gangtok: Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station, you will be warmly greeted and driven to Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim (approx. 5-hour drive). En route, enjoy the scenic views of Teesta River and lush hills. After checking in to your hotel, the evening is free for leisure. You can take a gentle walk on MG Marg, Gangtok’s main street, and enjoy some local snacks or shopping at the local handicraft stores.

    Day 2

    Gangtok Local Sightseeing: Today begins with a full-day exploration of Gangtok’s popular attractions. Start with a visit to the Rumtek Monastery, one of the largest and most significant monasteries in Sikkim. Then, head to Namgyal Institute of Tibetology to learn about Tibetan culture and history. Visit the peaceful Do Drul Chorten Stupa and the lively Flower Exhibition Centre. End the day at Banjhakri Falls, where nature and folklore meet. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 3

    Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir: After breakfast, set out for an exciting excursion to Tsomgo Lake, a glacial lake located at an altitude of 12,400 feet. Surrounded by snow during winter and blooming rhododendrons in summer, the lake is simply breathtaking. Next, visit the sacred Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, dedicated to an Indian army soldier. Weather permitting, you can also opt for a yak ride near the lake. Return to Gangtok by evening and relax at the hotel.

    Day 4

    Drive to Lachung (North Sikkim): Today, head towards Lachung, a beautiful mountain village in North Sikkim (approx. 6-7 hours). The journey itself is an attraction, with stops at Seven Sisters Waterfalls, Naga Waterfall, and the Mangan View Point for majestic mountain views. On arrival in Lachung, check in to your hotel or homestay and enjoy a warm dinner. Spend the night amidst the quiet charm of the Himalayas.

    Day 5

    Yumthang Valley Excursion: Early in the morning, visit the stunning Yumthang Valley, also known as the Valley of Flowers. During spring, the valley is covered in a colorful carpet of rhododendrons. Located at 11,800 feet, this alpine paradise also has a hot spring believed to have healing properties. Optional visit to Zero Point (subject to permit and weather) for snow-covered landscapes and thrilling altitude. Return to Lachung for the night.

    Day 6

    Lachung to Gangtok: After breakfast, begin your return journey to Gangtok. The drive offers another chance to enjoy the scenic beauty of Sikkim’s countryside. Reach Gangtok by late afternoon and check in to your hotel. Spend your evening relaxing or explore MG Marg for last-minute shopping or to sample some local Sikkimese cuisine like momos, thukpa, and phagshapa.

    Day 7

    Day Trip to Namchi: Today, embark on a day trip to Namchi, a peaceful town located about 80 km from Gangtok. Visit the impressive Char Dham complex, where replicas of India’s four holy shrines are set against the backdrop of Mt. Kanchenjunga. Also, explore the towering Statue of Guru Padmasambhava at Samdruptse Hill. On your way back, stop by the scenic Temi Tea Garden, the only tea estate in Sikkim. Return to Gangtok for an overnight stay.

    Day 8

    Tashi Viewpoint and Enchey Monastery: Start your day with a visit to Tashi Viewpoint, where you can catch a magnificent sunrise over the Himalayan peaks, including Mt. Kanchenjunga. Then visit the historic Enchey Monastery, which holds spiritual importance for the locals. Later, you may explore the Handicrafts and Handloom Centre to see local artisans at work and buy authentic Sikkimese souvenirs. Enjoy your final evening in Gangtok at leisure.

    Day 9

    Departure from Gangtok: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey. Take back wonderful memories of the Himalayas, the serene monasteries, and the warm hospitality of Sikkim.

    • As travelling becomes a regular part of life for many, we recommend creating your own travel accessories kit to enjoy a smooth and stress-free holiday.
    • Always aim to travel light—carry less luggage, preferably one small or medium-sized four-wheel suitcase per person. This makes movement easier and helps avoid inconvenience during the trip.
    • It’s advisable to keep one cross-body bag or a small haversack with you at all times. This will help you carry your essentials comfortably during sightseeing and also makes it easy to click photos without any hassle.
    • Make sure to include a smart cap or hat and a good pair of sunglasses in your kit to protect yourself from sun exposure and stay comfortable throughout the day.
    • Although all three meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—along with special treats as per the itinerary will be provided, you may still carry your choice of dry snacks in small, sealed packets for munching during flights or long road journeys.
    • If you’re travelling during the monsoon or to a destination known for rain, do pack a small umbrella or a lightweight poncho to stay dry and prepared.
    • For international tours, don’t forget to carry a universal power adapter so that you can easily charge your mobile phones and camera without facing any compatibility issues.
    • Lastly, make sure your clothing and footwear are suitable for the destination and weather conditions to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience.

      • For NRI and Foreign National Guests alongwith Passport, Valid Indian Visa/ OCI Card/ PIO Card is mandatory.
      • Carry one passport size photo.

      Payment Policy

      A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking your travel package, with an additional 25% amount due no later than 30 days prior to departure. For standard travel packages, the remaining 50% balance can be settled during or after your trip but must be completed before the tour concludes. Failure to comply with our payment policy may result in the cancellation of your booking.

      • If you choose to make payment through any method other than NEFT/RTGS, direct bank deposit, or cash payment, you will be responsible for any transfer charges incurred by banks or payment agencies

      Cancellation Policy

      We understand that most travelers who cancel their reservations do so due to unforeseen circumstances or emergencies. However, cancellations require significant administrative resources, including dedicated staff time, communication costs, and pre-purchased arrangements. Therefore, all cancellations will incur the following fees based on the timing of cancellation:

      Cancellation Charges:

      • Before 30 days: 15% of the total tour cost
      • 30 – 15 days: 30% of the total tour cost
      • 14 – 7 days: 70% of the total tour cost
      • 6 – 3 days: 80% of the total tour cost
      • 2 – 0 days: 100% of the total tour cost

      Additional Terms:

      • All cancellations made within 25 days of trip commencement will attract a minimum cancellation charge of ₹10,000
      • If you fail to join a tour, join after departure, or leave before completion, no refund will be provided
      • The above cancellation fees are in addition to any charges that may be imposed by accommodation providers or third-party service cancellation fees

      Cancellation Due To Natural Disasters And Unforeseen Circumstances

      If your tour is cancelled or postponed due to natural disasters (landslides, snowfall, floods, earthquakes), severe weather conditions, road blockades, civil unrest, riots, or any weather-related or socio-political disruptions occurring at the last moment, no refund will be provided.

      Specific Scenarios:

      • If roads are blocked and travelers miss their scheduled accommodation, the full cost of the missed hotel stay will be charged, plus the cost of any emergency accommodation we arrange
      • Travelers may choose to arrange and pay for emergency accommodation at their own expense
      • If a particular destination must be cancelled at the last moment, the full amount for that portion will be charged
      • Changes to itineraries due to regional unrest or security concerns may require immediate rebooking, and travelers must cooperate with new arrangements

      Important Disclaimer: This policy exists because natural phenomena and socio-political situations are beyond our control. Road blockages, regional conflicts, and weather emergencies can necessitate last-minute changes to travel plans. In such circumstances, travelers will bear the expenses for any required modifications to their itinerary.
