    Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrive in Rovaniemi

Upon your arrival at Rovaniemi International Airport, you will be greeted by our tour manager who will assist you in transferring to your hotel. After completing the check-in process, take some time to explore the surrounding areas and enjoy the evening. We recommend having dinner early, as the hotel kitchen may close after your return from the Northern Lights Safari.
The next item on your itinerary is the Reindeer Safari, where you will be taken on a sleigh ride led by reindeer to witness the mesmerizing aurora borealis. This unique experience of being pulled by reindeer on a sleigh is truly magical and unforgettable.

Please keep in mind that the appearance of the Northern Lights can vary, so adjustments to the tour may be necessary.

During this activity, you will also have the opportunity to meet local reindeer herders and learn about their daily lives and connection to nature. You can interact with the reindeer, enjoy warm beverages and pastries, and listen to captivating stories about reindeer herding and life in Lapland. The entire experience, including transfers, lasts approximately 3 to 4 hours.

End your day by staying overnight in Rovaniemi, taking in the beauty of this enchanting destination.

Day 2 – Santa Claus Village and Snowmobile Safari

Start your day off right with a delectable breakfast before spending the morning leisurely taking in the breathtaking views from your hotel. Your afternoon adventure awaits as you head to Santa Claus Village, an enchanting amusement park located in Rovaniemi. The activities available at the park vary depending on the season of your visit. In the summer, you can bask in the glow of the midnight sun or trek along the scenic Koivusaari Nature Trail. When winter arrives, you can partake in a delightful horse-drawn sleigh ride, glide across forest ice, zip through the snow on a snowmobile, or witness the magic of a polar night.

No matter the time of year, the majestic Taiga forests and their myriad trails are sure to captivate you. Your tour will include a cozy picnic by a crackling bonfire while you await the appearance of the mesmerizing Northern Lights. Indulge in some traditional Finnish makkara sausages paired with refreshing Lappish berry juice.

Conclude your excursion with an exhilarating hour and a half snowmobile ride. Each snowmobile accommodates two adults, with an additional fee for solo riders. This tour is ideal for families and children alike.

    Day 3 – Snowshoe Hike

Indulge in a hearty breakfast buffet to kickstart your day before embarking on a snowshoe hike to the Wilderness Lodge later in the evening. This unique experience allows you to marvel at the twinkling stars and moon as you navigate through the darkness. Snowshoeing in Lapland is a fantastic way to immerse yourself in the wilderness.

Located by the picturesque Raudanjoki River, Wilderness Lodge is a charming timber manor that offers a glimpse into traditional lumberjack life. Traverse the bridge over the river to witness the frozen rapids and potentially catch a glimpse of the mesmerizing Northern Lights. While the snowshoeing equipment is easy to handle, assistance will be provided as needed, and warm clothing will be supplied for your comfort. Take a break during the excursion to enjoy hot chocolate and delectable sweet buns by a crackling open fire.

Day 4 – Northern Lights Hunting By The Bus

Experience a relaxing day as you wait for the evening tour that will lead you on a Northern Lights Hunting adventure. Our tour will explore various locations known for their stunning Northern Lights displays. Remember to bring your camera to capture the vibrant colors of this natural phenomenon. The visibility of the Northern Lights improves as we venture away from the city, where light pollution is minimal and the sky is crisp and clear.
