Day 2: Discover Taipei’s Charm

Begin your day by enjoying a delicious breakfast before embarking on a half-day tour of Taipei. Discover renowned landmarks such as the impressive Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, a site steeped in history and culture. Explore the National Palace Museum, which houses a captivating collection of Chinese imperial arts and jade artifacts dating back 5,000 years.
Experience the reverence of the Martyrs’ Shrine, characterized by its traditional architecture, and observe the mesmerizing Change of Honor Guards ceremony. Immerse yourself in the local culture by visiting a Taiwanese temple and appreciate the craftsmanship of Taipei at the Taipei Handicraft Centre. The afternoon is yours to savor at your own leisure. Conclude your day with another pleasant night at your hotel in Taipei.

Day 3: Exploring Sun Moon Lake from Taipei

Begin your day with a substantial breakfast before starting a picturesque journey to Sun Moon Lake, located in the heart of Taiwan at an elevation of 762 meters amidst the stunning mountains of Central Taiwan. Your first destination is the famous Wenwu Temple, also known as the Literature-Warrior Temple. This revered site honors Confucius as the Master of Pen and Kuan Ti as the Master of Sword. Immerse yourself in the spiritual atmosphere as you visit the Holy Monk Shrine and the Ci En Pagoda.

Next, proceed to your accommodation where you will check in and have the chance to relax in the natural hot springs of the Fleur de Chine Hotel, Sun Moon Lake. The peaceful surroundings provide an ideal retreat for unwinding. Feel free to explore the area at your own pace. Take a leisurely stroll along the scenic paths, go for a bike ride, embark on a hike, or enjoy a tranquil boat ride on the lake. The choice is yours. As the day comes to a close, settle in for a restful overnight stay at the hotel in the enchanting Sun Moon Lake.

Day 4: Sun Moon Lake, Foguangshan Monastery, and Kaohsiung

Embark on a delightful morning by indulging in a delicious breakfast to kickstart your day. Take a scenic drive past the picturesque Jiji Railway Station, a charming historical landmark. Your ultimate destination is the renowned Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Monastery, a sacred site highly revered in southern Taiwan. Delve into the teachings of Buddhism with a guided walking tour of the monastery, including a visit to the impressive Buddha Memorial Centre. Engage in enlightening conversations with the resident monks and nuns to gain a deeper understanding of their spiritual practices. Next, journey to Kaohsiung City, the second-largest city in Taiwan. Explore the scenic Love River and conclude your tour at the bustling Liuhe Night Market, where you can indulge in a variety of local delicacies. Retire to your comfortable accommodations in Kaohsiung for a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 5: From Kaohsiung to Kenting and Zhiben Hot Springs

Embark on a refreshing morning with a delightful breakfast before setting out on a journey to Kenting National Park, located at the southernmost point of Taiwan. This picturesque park features 37 miles of stunning coral-fringed coastline, providing the perfect backdrop for our adventure. During our exploration, we will visit iconic sites such as the Eluanbi lighthouse, Maobitou coastal scenic area, and Longpan Park.

Our scenic drive will then take us to Taitung via the Southern Link Highway, offering spectacular views and creating lasting memories along the way. The day concludes with a relaxing stop at Hotel Royal Chihpen, where you can enjoy the soothing natural hot springs. Rest comfortably at the hotel in Taitung for the night after a day filled with exploration and relaxation.

Day 6: Taitung – East Coast National Scenic Area – Taroko

Start your day with a delicious breakfast and get ready for an exciting East Coast Tour. The East Coast National Scenic Area, known as Taiwan’s last untouched paradise, stretches for 170 kilometers along the eastern coast of the island. This area showcases nature’s beauty, with a variety of stunning landforms carved by weathering, erosion, and accumulation.

During the tour, you will visit Xiaoyeliu, Sanxiantai, Shitiping (Stone Steps), a marble factory, and its showroom. In the afternoon, continue your journey to Hualien and spend the night in the tranquil surroundings of Taroko National Park. Relax and unwind at your Taroko hotel as the evening unfolds.

Day 7: Exploring Taroko National Park and Returning to Taipei

Start your day with a delicious breakfast before embarking on a journey to Taroko National Park. Marvel at the stunning Taroko Gorge, a striking narrow ravine carved by the Liwu River through solid marble mountains. A picturesque road meanders through towering cliffs and forested peaks, with the river rushing below and massive marble boulders alongside.

Explore iconic landmarks like the Tunnel of Nine Turns, Ci Mu Bridge, Swallow Grotto, and Changchun Temple (Eternal Spring Shrine). On your return to Taipei, take a moment to admire the breathtaking Cingshui Cliff and pass through the Syue-Shan Long Tunnel, stretching 12.9 kilometers. End your day at your Taipei hotel for a well-deserved rest.

Day 8: Departing from Taipei

Rise and shine to a delightful breakfast before getting ready for your departure. You will then be escorted to the International Airport in the morning to board your flight back home.

Weather

Payment Policy

A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking your travel package, with an additional 25% amount due no later than 30 days prior to departure. For standard travel packages, the remaining 50% balance can be settled during or after your trip but must be completed before the tour concludes. Failure to comply with our payment policy may result in the cancellation of your booking.

• If you choose to make payment through any method other than NEFT/RTGS, direct bank deposit, or cash payment, you will be responsible for any transfer charges incurred by banks or payment agencies

Cancellation Policy

We understand that most travelers who cancel their reservations do so due to unforeseen circumstances or emergencies. However, cancellations require significant administrative resources, including dedicated staff time, communication costs, and pre-purchased arrangements. Therefore, all cancellations will incur the following fees based on the timing of cancellation:

Cancellation Charges:

• Before 30 days: 15% of the total tour cost
• 30 – 15 days: 30% of the total tour cost
• 14 – 7 days: 70% of the total tour cost
• 6 – 3 days: 80% of the total tour cost
• 2 – 0 days: 100% of the total tour cost

Additional Terms:

• All cancellations made within 25 days of trip commencement will attract a minimum cancellation charge of ₹10,000
• If you fail to join a tour, join after departure, or leave before completion, no refund will be provided
• The above cancellation fees are in addition to any charges that may be imposed by accommodation providers or third-party service cancellation fees

Cancellation Due To Natural Disasters And Unforeseen Circumstances

If your tour is cancelled or postponed due to natural disasters (landslides, snowfall, floods, earthquakes), severe weather conditions, road blockades, civil unrest, riots, or any weather-related or socio-political disruptions occurring at the last moment, no refund will be provided.

Specific Scenarios:

• If roads are blocked and travelers miss their scheduled accommodation, the full cost of the missed hotel stay will be charged, plus the cost of any emergency accommodation we arrange
• Travelers may choose to arrange and pay for emergency accommodation at their own expense
• If a particular destination must be cancelled at the last moment, the full amount for that portion will be charged
• Changes to itineraries due to regional unrest or security concerns may require immediate rebooking, and travelers must cooperate with new arrangements

Important Disclaimer: This policy exists because natural phenomena and socio-political situations are beyond our control. Road blockages, regional conflicts, and weather emergencies can necessitate last-minute changes to travel plans. In such circumstances, travelers will bear the expenses for any required modifications to their itinerary.
